RULES
1.2. Team composition
1.3 Roster
4.1 Settings for the tournament
All players are expected to follow the given set rules. Different agreements are not allowed.
4.2 Maps
During the invitational Early Axes Admins will have a captain’s discussion on the day of scheduled matches.
Map ban/voting will occur during the Early Axes Admin Captains discussion.
4.3 No show
If a Team is not ready or does not show 15min after the starting time, the team that did not show will be marked as Forfeit.
Teams are required to check in with the other team at least 30min to an hour prior to the start of a match to ensure all is in order.
Captains need to confirm a time and date for their match with opposing captains ASAP so that arrangements can be made. If a captain does not respond to another captain within a reasonable timeframe, the 3-day forfeit rule will apply.
3-day forfeit - when contacted by an opposing captain and no response is given. the team that does not respond within 3 days of initial contact will be forfeited of that week's fixture.
this is to prevent teams from forcing another team to play within a limited space of time. Fixtures are created on a Monday to provide a full week to play said fixtures, if that cannot be managed forfeits will be applied
this is to set up day and time of the match, map pick can be done at any time within reason
4.4 Protests
If a controversial situation, not described by this rulebook, occurs during a match, the team that has spotted it should immediately stop the match and inform the administrator about it. Protests regarding lineups cannot be brought up during or after a match, these need to be brought to the opposing captain as well as an admin before the start of a match. Failure to do so will result in acceptance of the lineup. If the team does not stop the match and continues to play, it will be taken as an acceptance of the situation. Because of that, the team will lose all rights to file a protest concerning that situation after the game has ended. Protests must be made immediately, or they may be ignored depending on the circumstances.
4.5 Match Results
Both Teams are responsible to take and send a screenshot of the end of round results (or notify an Early Axes administrator of the results with both teams in acceptance of those results), this is of vital importance that both teams submit these screenshots to the allocated admin of the match. This is to confirm that the results are correct and both teams are in agreement.
After the results have been checked, the allocated match Admin will upload the results and the results will be final.
Early Axes strives to update the Fixtures as soon as possible after a match has been completed.
If there are any disputes after a match has been finalized please contact the administrative staff of Early Axes.
4.6 Player drops
If a player drops from the server during a match, the round will continue uninterrupted until the end (Round starts with the first second of the preparation phase). If the dropped player cannot return for any reason during the match, the player who disconnected will be allowed to re-join the server before the start of the next map.
The match is considered “live” when the first round has started. At least 4 players need to remain in the match and the match need to be played until the end and a winner is decided. If this isn’t possible due to connection issues, the Match admin should be notified or the captain of each team in the match must discuss a simple solution or set another time slot for the match. If more than one complete map has been played the match cannot be abandoned and the team that leads will take the victory. Due to the recent problems experienced in all game forms. With immediate effect, If a player(s) lags out/drops from a match during the first round preparation phase of a map that map can be stopped and re-hosted. Any lag-outs/drops after the first round will be handled like previously stated and play will continue as normal.
4.7 Casting and streaming
Personal streaming is not allowed during the league
Streaming is only allowed by the assigned and approved EAX streamers. IF unsure who they are, please contact an admin.
Any streams done by other streamers will not be allowed to protest on grounds of stream sniping or incorrect setups.
Personal Streaming is only allowed if both Captains agree.
4.8 Illegal Actions
Any actions that result in an unfair advantage are illegal. This includes bug and glitch using of any kind. In a tournament by using any bug or glitch, The Guilty team will be forfeited from that match, depending on the severity of the infringement it could lead to a total ban from the Early Axes Tournament.
If a team spots a glitch being used by the opposing team we urge players to record (if possible) the glitch and supply evidence of glitch using.
All known glitches are unacceptable and teams using glitches to their advantage will be punished harshly.
If a team reports another team for glitch using please ensure that you have evidence to back the claim. This is of vital importance.
When a team is aware of another team using a glitch in the current match being played, we advise the captain to stop the game and notify an Early Axes admin before the match continues.
4.9 Party Chat
Teams playing in matches must have their parties open at all times, only the 5 players plus the match Substitute is allowed in a party at any given time.
4.10 Teamsheets
To all the captains of each team that is participating in this league take note of your own teamsheet and updates the Gamertags if someone in your team has changed there Gamertag and proof of Gamertag is a MUST. If an opposing captain questions your line-up and does not match up in the lobby he/she has full rights to ask you to remove that player from your line-up.
