1.Eligibility
2 How to setup a clan profile
3 Team composition
4.1Technical Issues
Players are responsible for their own hardware and internet connection.
Matches will only be reschedules with both teams and organizers consent.
If technical issues arise with a player and the substitute cannot fill in, the match will be forfeited.
If the technical issue is of such nature that it affects all parties the Organizers and the teams, will discuss the matter and arrange for a later date.
4.2 Substitute Players
It is only allowed to substitute a player before the match starts or prior to the start of a new Round.
All 3 players of a team (as per the team sheet) must play the game till the end.
If a player disconnects from the server mid game and cannot get back into the current session the team may continue with 2 players until the next Round. The dropped player (if possible) may reconnect or a substitute may be brought into the game.
Due to the recent problems experienced in all game forms. With immediate effect, If a player(s) lags out/drops from a match during the first round preperation phase of a round that round can be stopped and re-hosted. Any lag-outs/drops after the first round will be handled like previously stated and play will continue as normal.
5.1 Settings for the tournament
All players are expected to follow the given set rules. Different agreements are not allowed.
In the case that captains cannot come to an agreement on scheduling their match without the assistance of a admin. The admin will set a time and date for the fixture to be played which will be before the following weeks fixtures.
5.2 No show
If a Team is not ready or does not show 15min after the starting time, the team that did not show will be marked as Forfeit.
Teams are required to check in with the other team at least 30min to an hour prior to the start of a match to ensure all is in order.
5.3 Protests
If a controversial situation, not described by this rulebook, occurs during a match, the team that has spotted it should immediately stop the match and inform the administrator about it. If the team does not stop the match and continues to play, it will be taken as an acceptance of the situation. Because of that the team will lose all rights to file a protest concerning that situation after the game has ended. Protests must be made immediately, or they may be ignored depending on the circumstances.
5.4 Match Results
The winning team is responsible to submit the end of round results (end of round score cards) to the Early Axes E-Sports website.
When in the tournament tab on the Early Axes Website select the Early Axes Rocket League - then Select fixtures - next to each fixture you will find a tab that says submit score cards.
Please ensure you upload the end of round results score card (screenshot) The Early Axes Admins will moderate the match after the results have been uploaded and then approve the outcome of a match.
If the scorecards are not uploaded the match will not count and the Match will be marked as forfeited.
On the controller press the Xbox home button press y to screenshot the end of round results.
The Early Axes admin also uses these stats (end of round results) to create each player's individual League stats. This way it ensures that all weekly MVP's and player stats are correct and up to date.
5.5.Personal Streaming
If a team would like to stream a match we would advise that both team captains are in agreement prior to the match and that an Early Axes Admin is notified.
Streaming with either Mixer or Twitch is allowed.
5.6 Illegal Actions
Any actions that result in an unfair advantage are illegal. This includes bug and glitch using of any kind. In a tournament by using any bug or glitch, The Guilty team may be forfeited from that match (Depending on factors which includes and is not limited to, Did/could the action result in a different match outcome, Was the glitch used in a vital point of the game, did the action effect the opposing team in such a manner they could not continue the match as intended, Did the opposing team purposfully use a glitch to turn or win a match ), depending on the severity of the infringement it could lead to a total ban from the Early Axes Tournament.
If a team spots a glitch being used by the opposing team we urge players to record (if possible) the glitch and supply evidence of glitch using.
All known glitches are unacceptable and teams using glitches to their advantage will be punished harshly.
If a team reports another team for glitch using please ensure that you have evidence to back the claim. This is of vital importance.
When a team is aware of another team using a glitch in the current match being played, we advise the captain to stop the game and notify an Early Axes admin before the match continues.
Teams may also stop the match and ask the opposing team captain to enter a party chat, where they can discuss the situation, If the captains cannot come to an agreement, the Early Axes Admin must be notified.
6. Game setting and Setup.
All matches have to be played according to the Early Axes Settings
If games are not played in accordance the Matches will not count and both teams will be marked as “Forfeited”
